Chalasani, PhD (Damon Runyon Fellow ‘04-‘07) of The Rockefeller University, New York, has been named one of eight winners of the 2009 New York Academy of Sciences Blavatnik Award for Young Scientists. The annual Blavatnik Awards recognize highly innovative, impactful, and interdisciplinary accomplishments in the life sciences, physical sciences, and engineering.
