Laura Linney returns to Broadway to reprise the role of Sarah in Time Stands Still.  Sarah is a photojournalist who returns home to New York after being sidelined by serious injuries from a roadside bombing.  While home, she begins to question her place in the world and if she can lead a more conventional life personally and professionally.

A Life in the Theatre

Patrick Stewart and T.R. Knight star in David Mamet’s comedy A Life in the Theatre.  The play focuses on the complex relationship between Robert, an experienced actor and John, a newcomer to the stage and what happens backstage as the torch is passed on from one generation to the next.

Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson

Historical facts mixed with emo rock music create the background for Broadway’s newest musical, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson.  The show uses the story of Andrew Jackson from his childhood to when he begins his steady climb to power and eventually becomes the 7th President of the United States.

La Bete

David Hyde Pierce returns to Broadway in the limited engagement run of La Bete.  The comedy tells the story of Valere, a low-brow street performer and what happens when the princess insists on him joining a theater group headed by the classic dramatist Elomire.

Lombardi

Vince Lombardi’s story of how he became the inspirational coach of the Green Bay Packers football team comes to stage in Broadway’s newest drama, Lombardi.  Theater goers will see the ideas and people who made Vince Lombardi the complex and legendary icon that he was.

Driving Miss Daisy

Vanessa Redgrave and James Earl Jones return to Broadway to star in Alfred Uhry’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play.  Driving Miss Daisy tells the story of the complex relationship between a stubborn Southern matriarch, Daisy Werthan, and her compassionate chauffeur, Hoke Colburn.

Rain

In 1964 four boys from Liverpool changed rock ‘n’ roll forever.  In this concert show, Rain performs a tribute to the Beatles using video and sound projections from the early days when the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show to their breakup in 1970.

The Scottsboro Boys

The new musical, The Scottsboro Boys is based off of the infamous Scottsboro case where nine young and innocent African-American teenagers are accused of raping two white women in Scottsboro, Alabama in 1931. Taking on the controversial topics of racism and justice, the Scottsboro case helped give rise to the Civil Rights movement.

Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch star in the revival of Sondheim’s 1973 musical, A Little Night Music.  The four-time Tony Award-nominated show focuses on an aging actress and her complicated love life when she reconnects with a former flame.

Memphis

Broadway goes back to Memphis in the 1950s to tell the tale of white radio DJ Huey Calhoun and Felicia Farrell, a black singer whose career is on the rise.  While rock ‘n’ roll takes off, the music-loving, interracial couple’s love is put to the test. Memphis won 4 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Million Dollar Quartet

In 1956 Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins met in Memphis for one of the greatest jam sessions known to rock n’ roll.  Million Dollar Quartet recreates that night, featuring hit songs such as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line” and “Hound Dog.”
